Dave Grohl et son supergroupe

Nous vous l’annoncions à la fin de l’année dernière, Dave Grohl nous préparait encore une belle surprise.

A l’image de son album " Sound City ", il a invité " quelques amis " pour créer un supergroupe avec un line-up qui en fera rêver plus d’un!

Pas moins de 30 musiciens ont pris part à ce projet, dont les premiers fruits seront à récolter le 31 juillet prochain, date officielle de sortie de l’album Greatest Hits Vol.1 via Rise Records.

Le nom de ce super groupe ? Teenage Time Killers (d’après le titre d’un morceau de Rudimentary Peni) .

Le projet est chapeauté par Reed Mullin (batteur de Corrosion of Conformity), Mick Murphy (My Ruin, The Birds Of Satan) et le producteur John “Lou” Lousteau.

Le trio a choisi pour les 20 plages de cet album, des stars du punk, du metal, et du rock de manière plus large : Jello Biafra, Randy Blythe de Lamb of God, Dave Grohl et Pat Smear des Foo Fighters, Nick Oliveri, Matt Skiba d’Alkaline Trio, Corey Taylor de Slipknot et Stone Sour, Tommy Victor de Prong et Danzig, Lee Ving de Fear, Mike “IX” Williams d’Eyehategod, Mike Dean et Woody Weatherman (Corrosion of Conformity), Karl Agell et d’autres !

Toutes les plages de cet premier album Greatest Hits Vol. 1 ont été enregistrées au studio Californien 606 de Dave Grohl.
